Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those queries. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs can contain an IP address, browser type, time stamp, and pages requested. Aggregate log data helps maintain the service and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How the Data Is Used
These limited details support site operation, error repair, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Snohomish County and Washington portals, courts, libraries, archives, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's privacy terms. The same is true for sponsored results, which an independent provider operates.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Privacy rights vary with the data and the visitor's location. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, creates rights for covered consumer health data, while chapter 19.375 RCW regulates commercial biometric identifiers. Because we retain little visitor information, a request will usually involve checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Government records held by Snohomish County or Washington agencies remain outside our control, so correction or disclosure requests must go to the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
